The state of San Luis Potosi gets only a couple of pages. For us this meant that we were the only tourists in town and we got the whole place to ourselves. The guide told us that on the weekends it's jam packed with Mexicans - easy to imagine because it's so gorgeous. Also during the Spring and Summer there can be hundreds of people there in a day.
